    Israel’s transportation hub seamlessly integrates Israel Railways’ Navon Station (just 32 minutes from Tel Aviv), with three light railway lines, Jerusalem’s Central Bus Station with 280 urban and intercity bus lines per hour, and two kilometres of new bicycle paths.

  • Israel’s Leading Business Center

    Mixed-use development offers employment opportunities focusing on commerce, hotel, tourism and government, together with an ecosystem of culture, academia and government services that will interconnect to make the City Gateway the place for Israel’s greatest and most significant economic achievements in the future.

  • State-of-the-Art Public Urban Space

    Topotek 1, landscape architects, won the international architectural competition to plan the project’s public urban spaces which will be designed and built to an exceptionally high standard to create an attractive, vibrant, open urban space at the city’s gateway.

  • National Partnerships

    The project is managed and administered by Eden – The Jerusalem Economic Development Company, with implementation carried out by Moriah – The Jerusalem Development Company in collaboration with the Jerusalem Municipality, the Ministry of Transportation, the Ministry of Finance and the Israel Land Authority with an investment of 1.4 billion shekels

The Jerusalem Gateway Ecosystem
The Central Bus Station

Jerusalem’s Central Bus Station on Jaffa Street interconnects smoothly with the Israel Railway Station opposite, the city’s Light Rail lines and 280 urban and intercity bus lines every hour.

The Light Rail

The light rail project is the first of its kind in Israel and is part of the comprehensive transportation master plan for Jerusalem. Its three lines will meet at the Jerusalem Gateway, running frequently throughout the day and connecting all parts of the city.

Yitzchak Navon High-Speed Railway Station

The railway station is situated 80 meters below street level. The high-speed railway connects the Jerusalem Gateway to Ben-Gurion Airport, Tel Aviv and the Gush Dan metropolitan area.

ICC Binyanei Ha’Uma

Israel’s leading sport and convention center that has hosted hundreds of historic conferences of major significance since the founding of the State. Binyanei Ha’Uma is expected to expand and develop into the Middle East’s largest conference center as part of the Jerusalem Gateway Project.

The Knesset

The legislative authority and parliament of the State of Israel is located in the government precinct and embodies Israel’s parliamentary authority.

The Supreme Court

The Supreme Court is the highest judicial authority of the State of Israel, with 15 judges under the authority of the President of the Supreme Court.

Machaneh Yehuda Market

Jerusalem’s colorful central market, with its unique character, draws local residents and tourists from around the country and abroad to visit its wide variety of fresh food stalls, specialist shops and its vibrant nightlife which includes some of the finest eating experiences that the city has to offer.

The New Bezalel Campus

Bezalel, Israel’s leading academy for arts, design and architecture and one of the world’s major art schools. The facility is the house of 2,500 students and 500 staff members, creating a creative and cutting-edge ecosystem in Jerusalem.

The Kirsh Family Jerusalem Arts Campus

The Arts Campus is the house of all the city’s art schools. The Sam Spiegel Film & Television School, Nissan Nativ School of Acting and the Eastern Music

Sacher Park

The largest urban park in the city is situated close to the Jerusalem Gateway and serves as a large “green lung” that encompasses Jerusalem’s major institutions and sites.

The Government Precinct

The government precinct brings together the legislative, executive and judicial authorities of the State of Israel. The precinct is a central pillar of the plan to centralize government, cultural and national institutions together in one area.

The Museum Quarter

The museum quarter on Givat Ram is the foundation on which Israeli culture is built and includes the Israel Museum, the National Library, the Science Museum, the Bible Lands Museum, the Academy of the Hebrew Language, the Music Academy and the planned Natural History Museum.

The Hebrew University

The Givat Ram campus is home to the Faculty of Science, the Einstein Institute of Mathematics and the Israel Institute for Advanced Studies and is recognized as a leading scientific research center in Israel and abroad. The 270,000-square-meter Hujitech hi-tech industrial park, with a further 30,000 square meters reserved for future development, will be built adjacent to the campus under the University’s auspices and managed by the Gav-Yam Company.

City Center

The city center melds together the many entertainment options that Jerusalem has to offer. from the colorful, exciting Machaneh Yehuda Market, through the Ben Yehuda pedestrian mall, historic Jaffa Road and the picture-perfect Nachalat Shiva Quarter.

The Old City

Just 10 minutes on the Light Rail brings you to the Old City, one of the world’s most famous tourist destinations which brings locals and tourists of different religions and nations together to visit its holy sites.

Deborah Omer Boulevard

At the heart of the project, a new commercial street will be constructed named for Israel Prize winner Deborah Omer. The street will function as a pedestrian-only mall leading from the Herzl – Shazar Boulevard intersection to Miriam Yellin Shteklis Square.

Miriam Yellin Shteklis Square

At the end of Deborah Omer Boulevard, a new urban plaza will be built, named for Israel Prize-winning author and poet, Miriam Yellin Shteklis. The bustling, vibrant urban open space will also offer commercial opportunities.

Court and State Prosecutor

At the center of the Jerusalem Gateway project, the new court and State Prosecutor buildings will bring together in one location the district and magistrate courts including family, traffic, juvenile and district courts, as well as the local and National Labor Court.

The District Buildings

Currently being built at the center of the Jerusalem Gateway project, the two towers of the District Buildings will house the Jerusalem District government’s offices.
